HOT GREEN BEAN SALAD 
4 lg. potatoes
1 lb. green beans
1 c. beef bouillon
1/4 lb. sliced bacon
1 tbsp. minced onion
1/8 tsp. dried rosemary
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 lb. Canadian bacon, cooked

Peel potatoes, sliced like French fries. Melt butter in heavy pan. Add potatoes, beans, and bouillon. Simmer (covered) over low heat until vegetables are tender. Stir often. Fry bacon and drain. Reserve 1/2 cup grease. Add rosemary, pepper, and vinegar to bacon grease. Pour over vegetables. Crumble bacon on and toss like a salad. Arrange Canadian bacon around platter. Put vegetables in center. Makes about 6 servings.
