GRILLED LONDON BROIL | |
2 lb. London broil steak, 1 1/2 inches thick 1 med. onion, chopped 1/2 c. cooking oil 1/3 c. catsup 1/4 c. red wine vinegar 1 tbsp. sweet pickle relish 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. Dijon style mustard Dash of pepper Pierce steak with a fork. Place in plastic bag set in a deep bowl to marinate. In skillet cook onion until tender. Remove from heat. Add catsup, vinegar, relish, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and pepper to skillet; mix well and cool. Pour marinade over meat, close bag and refrigerate for 6 hours. Remove meat and reserve marinade. Barbecue meat, brushing with marinade. Grill 10-12 minutes on each side. To serve, slice across grain. Makes 6 servings. |
