CHILI CASSEROLE | |
1 pkg. tortillas (corn) 1 chopped onion 2 1/2 c. grated sharp cheese 1 lb. ground beef 8 oz. can tomato sauce 1 can Hormel chili with beans and meat Saute onions in oil until limp and starting to brown. Add beef and brown the meat. Drain the grease. Add chili and tomato sauce stirring well. Heat thoroughly. Butter one tortilla and lay it in the bottom of a greased casserole. Top with this meat mixture. Then spread cheese evenly over the meat. Cover with another tortilla or two. Keep layering until you use up all of your meat mixture. Be sure to put grated cheese on the top tortilla. |
