MARINATED FLANK STEAK 
Flank steak (1/4 lb. meat per person)
1/3 c. red wine
1/3 c. oil (or less)
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. garlic

Mix all of the ingredients in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Marinate meat overnight (24 hours). Turn meat once or twice. Barbecue over direct heat or broil. Slice thin and serve.

(Fresh, grated ginger and a clove or 2 of garlic, crushed - sublime... but the powdered works fine!)
