APPLE BUTTER BEEF ROLLS 
1 c. apple butter
3 strips bacon
1/2 c. water
2 lbs. round steak (1/2 inch thick)
Salt and pepper

Pound steak well and cut in 6 pieces. Salt and pepper and spread with apple butter. Lay a half strip of bacon across each piece of steak. Roll and fasten with toothpicks. Sear in pan for 5 minutes. Transfer meat to baking dish and add water. Cover and bake at 350 degrees until tender, about an hour.
