CHOCOLATE MINT BROWNIES 
2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsifted flour
1/2 c. sliced almonds

MINT CREAM:

1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
3 tbsp. soft butter
2 tbsp. half and half
3/4 tsp. peppermint extract
2 oz. sweet chocolate
2 tbsp. butter

Melt in small saucepan first 2 ingredients; set aside. Beat together egg, sugar, flour, and almonds. Add chocolate and butter mixture. Pour into greased, unfloured 11 x 7 inch brownie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool.

Combine ingredients for Mint Cream except chocolate and butter. Stir until smooth. Spread over brownies and chill until firm. Melt last 2 ingredients; spread over top of mint cream and chill.
