2 c. sugar
2 tsp. corn syrup
2 oz. chocolate
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. butter

Cut chocolate in small pieces so it will melt easily, add sugar, milk, and corn syrup. Cook stirring until chocolate and sugar are melted.

Boil stirring occasionally to prevent burning, until it will form soft ball in cold water. Remove from fire, add butter. Don't stir. Wait to cool. Add vanilla and nuts.
