1 c. sugar
1 c. Mazola oil
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. & 1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Beat together sugars, oil and butter. Add salt, vanilla and eggs. Add flour, cream of tartar and soda. Make into balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Place on cookie sheet; tap each ball gently with bottom of tumbler. Bake 8-12 minutes at 375 degrees. Cookies will be light in color and soft.
