DAY BEFORE - MORNING AFTER
CASSEROLE
 
6 eggs
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
2 slices bread, cubed
1 lb. sausage, cooked & crumbled & drained
1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese

1. Beat eggs with milk, salt and mustard. Lay bread cubes, then sausage, then cheese in 13 x 9 inch pan. Pour egg mixture over layers. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 6.

2. Easily doubled or triple. Use a larger pan and experiment with different types of cheese (Swiss, muenster) and sausage (turkey, extra hot and spicy). Adjust cooking times accordingly. It's done when a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean and it's brown and bubbly on top.

3. Great for serving after a night on the town, Christmas morning, and at the Beach House!
