COUNTRY GREEN BEANS | |
1 lb. fresh or frozen green beans, cooked 6-12 slices bacon, cut in 1 inch pieces 1 lg. onion, chopped 1/4 - 1/2 c. tomato juice 1 tsp. salt Fresh ground pepper Prepare beans. Saute bacon in a skillet. In 4 tablespoons bacon drippings add onion and saute until limp, not brown. Add tomato juice and spices. Simmer. Put in dish with beans and bacon. |
