WILNA FANT FULLER'S CRANBERRY
BREAD
 
2 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. melted shortening or oil
1/2 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. hot water
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. fresh cranberries, cut in half

Sift all dry ingredients together. Beat egg, add shortening, orange juice, and hot water. Combine with dry ingredients. Add nuts and fresh cranberries.

Bake about 1 hour and 10 minutes in 350 degree oven. Grease and flour large (8 x 5 x 3 inch) light bread pan or 2 small ones. When bread is done, remove from oven and immediately grease all sides of loaves well with butter. While still hot, wrap in waxed paper; wrap in foil and return to refrigerator. Keep refrigerated. Slice thin to serve, spread with butter or cream cheese for tea sandwiches.
