NAPA CABBAGE SALAD 
1 pkg. slivered almonds
2 pkgs. Ramen noodles
1/2 c. sesame seeds
1/2 c. butter
1 head Napa cabbage
5 scallions (cut thinly)
1 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. soy sauce

Melt butter in large skillet. Add almonds, broken Ramen noodles and sesame seeds. Cook until brown, stirring very frequently. Set aside to cool.

Wash, cut up and mix together Napa with scallions.

To make dressing: Dissolve the sugar in vinegar by heating in the microwave. Add the oil and soy sauce.

Combine noodle mixture, Napa and dressing just before serving.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
