BANANA SPLIT CAKE 
2 c. vanilla wafers
2 sticks softened butter
2 c. confectioners' sugar
2 eggs
8 oz. cream cheese
16 oz. can crushed pineapple, drained
3 or 4 sliced bananas
8 oz. Cool Whip
Chopped nuts and cherries

Make crust with vanilla wafers and 1 stick butter. Press in 9 x 13 inch pan or 2 (9 inch) round pie pans. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. Beat other stick of butter with eggs and cream cheese and sugar. Place in baked crust. Spread with pineapple and Cool Whip. Put on sliced bananas. Sprinkle with chopped nuts and cherries. Refrigerate.
