YUM YUM YAMS 
8 sweet potatoes
1/4 c. evaporated milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

TOPPING:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder

Bake and peel yams. Then mix with sugar, butter, milk and vanilla until smooth. Spread into 13x15 casserole dish.

Prepare the topping as follows: Cream butter and sugar. Add flour, baking powder and pecans. Blend well. Spread over potato mixture. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes. Serves 8-10.
