CHOCOLATE CHERRY BARS 
1 pkg. fudge cake mix
1 tsp. almond extract
1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
2 eggs

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
5 tbsp. butter
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Mix cake mix, almond extract and cherry pie filling and eggs. Mix by hand, do not use mixer. Bake in 9 x 13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Grease pan with solid shortening.

In small pan, combine sugar, butter and milk. Boil, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour over warm cake.
