BANA CAIDA (Italian Fondue) 
1/2 c. olive oil
1/4 c. butter
3 lg. or 4 smaller cloves garlic, chopped
1 can anchovies

Heat oil and butter and saute chopped garlic. Add anchovies and cook on simmer until anchovies cook and stir mixture until soft smooth fondue.

Use as a dip for:

Italian bread chunks
Celery hearts
Lettuce wedges
Green pepper slices
