CHICKEN AMASU | |
3 lb. chicken wings Garlic salt 1 c. flour 2 eggs Oil for deep frying Sauce Prepare wings by discarding tip and cutting wings at joint. Sprinkle with garlic salt to taste. Let stand 1 hour. Shake wings in flour in plastic bag to coat completely. Dip in lightly beaten eggs. Heat oil in deep fryer and fry wings until golden. Turn into baking dish and pour sauce over. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Makes about 6 servings. SAUCE: 1/2 c. Japanese vinegar 3/4 c. sugar 1/4 c. undrained, canned crushed pineapple 1/4 c. catsup 1 tsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. salt Combine vinegar, sugar, pineapple and juice, catsup, soy sauce and salt. Heat just until sugar is melted. |
