3 to 4 lg. yams
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tall can Pet milk
2 (9 inch) deep dish pie shells, unbaked

Preheat oven and cookie sheet to 375 degrees. Boil yams until done and cool slightly. Place in large mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Beat in butter and sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Mix spices, salt, and milk. Pour into unbaked shells. Bake on cookie sheet for 70 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Garnish with marshmallows if desired. Makes 2 deep dish 9 inch pies.
