GLOUCESTER FISH CHOWDER 
1 med. onion
4 med. potatoes
1 lb. fish fillets
2 or 3 bottles clam juice
1 can (10 oz.) evaporated milk
Black pepper

Saute onion until golden brown. Add cubed potatoes and just cover with water. Cook gently about 10 minutes. Add cubed fish and clam juice. Cook gently another 10 minutes.

Add evaporated milk when ready to serve (hot). Garnish with fried, cubed salt pork or chives or parsley flakes.
