MACARONI SALAD 
1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni
3 to 4 dill pickles, grated
2 lg. carrots, grated
3 to 4 pieces celery, diced
Mayonnaise
Salt & pepper
1/2 c. olives, sliced (optional)
1/2 c. peas (optional)
1/2 c. cubed Cheddar cheese (optional)

Cook macaroni per package directions, rinse and cool. In large bowl combine macaroni, pickles, carrots and celery (and any optional ingredients). Toss lightly. Stir in enough mayonnaise to moisten. Salt and pepper to taste. Serves 6 to 8.
