BAVARIAN KRAUT SALAD 
1 (#2 1/2) can sauerkraut or 1 qt., drained
1 bunch green onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
1 1/2 c. chopped carrots
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar

Mix together first 5 ingredients. Boil sugar and vinegar, then pour over other ingredients. Chill 24 hours.
