VANILLA WAFER CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 (12 oz.) box vanilla wafers
1 (7 oz.) can flaked coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar; add well beaten eggs. Add crushed vanilla wafers; fold in coconut and nuts. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream cheese and butter. Add powdered sugar and vanilla. Cream until smooth. Frost cool cake.

This cake is delicious. It tast like it was purchased from a gourmet bakery. Its so rich and buttery tasting. The only problem I had was that it stuck to the fluted pan. I just covered the crack with the marvelous icing. Please try this you will certainly like it!!!!!
