GRAMMY'S BROCCOLI SOUP | |
1/2 lb. broccoli, 1 bunch 2 tbsp. chopped onions 1/2 c. butter 1/3 c. flour 1 c. half & half 3 1/2 c. chicken broth or 2 (13 oz.) cans 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. white pepper 1/2-3/4 lb. Velveeta cheese Saute broccoli and onions in butter for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in flour; cook until bubbly. Add chicken broth and water, stirring until thicken. Add half & half, pepper and cheese. Cook stirring constantly and blend until smooth. |
