GRAMMY'S BLUEBERRY CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs (separated)
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. floured blueberries

Sift flour, baking powder, and salt 3 times. Beat egg whites until stiff and set aside. Cream shortening with sugar and add well beaten egg yolks. To this, add flour mixture alternately with milk. Fold in egg whites and vanilla and add well floured blueberries. Put in a 9 x 9 inch greased and lightly floured baking pan and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
