1 pkg. chocolate or white cake mix (regular size)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
Dash of salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits

Mix cake mix as directed. Fill muffin cups 1/2 full. Cream cream cheese, sugar, egg and salt. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop by heaping teaspoon into each muffin cup. Bake as for cupcake directions on cake mix box.
