AUNT LOIS' BANANA NUT BREAD | |
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 3/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. sugar 2 eggs, lightly beaten 3/4 c. oil 3 tbsp. milk 2-3 mashed ripe bananas 1/2 c. chopped nuts Grease and flour 8 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch loaf pan. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add sugar, eggs, oil and milk. Stir to blend. Fold in bananas and nuts. Pour into prepared pan and bake 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Turn onto wire rack to cool completely. |
