1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. dates, chopped
1 c. red candied cherries, chopped
1 c. candied pineapple chopped
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten eggs and rest of ingredients. Drop on lightly greased pans and bake at 325 degrees for 12 minutes or put in midget cupcake pans or papers and bake at 325 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
