BARBECUED SPARE RIBS 
3 to 4 lb. ribs cut in strips
1 lg. onion, sliced
1 lemon, sliced

Place ribs in shallow roasting pan, meaty side up. Place a slice of onion and slice of lemon on each piece. Roast in very hot 450 degree oven for 30 minutes.

SAUCE:

1 c. catsup
1 tsp. chili powder
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
2 c. water, more if needed

Bring the sauce to a boil and pour over ribs. Continue baking in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Baste ribs every 15 minutes. Test for doneness. Add more hot water if needed.
