CHUNKY OATMEAL COOKIES 
5 c. quick oatmeal (dry)
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. water
2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
4 c. "chunks"

(Almond brickle, chocolate, butterscotch flavored or vanilla chips; candy M & M's etc., or chopped nuts).

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients except "chunks" in large bowl until well blended, stir in "chunks". Drop dough by rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies start to brown (do not overbake). Cool 1 minute; remove to wire rack. About 6 1/2 dozen cookies.
