HOT CRANBERRY PUNCH 
1/2-3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt, optional
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cloves
2 cans jellied cranberry sauce
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 qt. pineapple juice
4 c. water

Mix sugar and spices with 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. In a large saucepan or kettle (3 quart) mash cranberry sauce. Add remaining water and whisk until smooth. Add pineapple juice and syrup from small saucepan. Simmer 5 minutes.
