CHOCOLATE CHIP CHEESECAKE
SQUARES
 
CRUST:

1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 tbsp. sugar

CHEESECAKE BATTER:

1/2 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. almond extract

TOPPING:

1/2 c. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

To make crust: Combine crumbs, butter and 1 tablespoon sugar in small bowl. Press evenly into an 8"x8"x2" greased or non-stick pan. Refrigerate 1 hour.

To make cheesecake: In mixer, combine 1/2 cup sugar, cream cheese, egg, milk, lemon juice and almond extract. Beat until smooth and creamy. Pour into prepared crust. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over batter. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Cool, chill in refrigerator and cut into bars. Makes 1 dozen.
