OVEN POT ROAST 
3-4 lb. beef pot roast
1 env. dry onion soup
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup

Place pot roast in center of double thickness of heavy duty aluminum foil. Sprinkle all sides of meat with 1 envelope dry onion soup mix. Spoon 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup on top of meat. Seal meat in foil.

Bake at 350 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Skim off excess fat from meat juices. Serve juices with meat or thicken for gravy.

This is the recipe I have used for years with a couple of additions. I surround the meat with quarter onions and carrots. Everything comes out juicy and tender.
