APPLE BUTTER | |
12 to 14 apples, 16 c. chopped 2 c. cider 2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. cloves Core and chop unpeeled apples. Put in crock pot with cider. Cook 10 to 12 hours on low. Puree. Return to crock pot with rest of ingredients. Cover and cook on low 1 hour. Keeps several weeks or freeze in small amounts. Makes 8 cups. |
