WHOLE WHEAT MUFFINS 
1/2 c. white flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. wheat flour
1 beaten egg
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. oil

Sift together white flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix together brown sugar and wheat flour and stir into white flour mixture. Mix together egg, milk, and oil. Stir into flour mixture, stirring just until flour is moistened. Spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees. Makes 6 large muffins. Can be doubled.
