CANDIED POPCORN 
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. peanuts (optional)
1 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
7 qts. popped popcorn

Combine all ingredients, except soda, peanuts, and popcorn. Boil 5 minutes, mixing well. Remove from heat and add soda. Combine peanuts and popped corn and mix well. Put into 2 large, flat pans and bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Stir occasionally. Store in tightly covered container.
