MEXICALI SOUP 
3/4 c. ground turkey
1/3 c. finely crushed corn flakes
2 1/4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 sm. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 c. canned tomatoes with jalapenos
2 cans chicken broth
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 (12 oz.) can Mexican corn
1 can pinto beans or kidney beans

In medium bowl combine turkey, corn flakes, 1/4 cup water, 1 clove garlic, salt, and pepper. Roll in 1 inch balls and set aside. In large saucepan heat oil and saute 1 onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, chicken broth, 2 cups water, bring to a boil, add rice and turkey balls. Simmer 15 minutes. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 45 minutes.
