BUFFALO CHICKEN CALZONE | |
1 lb. ground chicken blue cheese salad dressing store bought pizza dough shredded mozzarella FRANK'S® hot sauce garlic (either powder or minced - your choice) olive oil, for brushing grated cheese (optional) 1. Defrost and let rise dough if frozen. 2. Once dough has risen roll out either round for half moon shaped or rectangle. 3. Cook chicken like ground beef. 4. Put in covered container. Add desired amount of hot sauce and shake. 5. Spread dressing on dough (1/2 the dough if using half moon shaped). 6. Add chicken. 7. Add cheese. 8. Fold and seal dough. 9. Cut vent slices across top of dough. If this is not done seams may open. 10. Bake at 400°F until it starts to brown. 11. Brush with olive oil and apply garlic across top. Add more mozzarella or grated cheese, if desired. 12. Continue to cook until golden brown Note: It will brown quickly after olive oil is applied. Submitted by: B.D.W. 1956 |
