1 loaf sm. cocktail rye bread
3 pkgs. dried beef, sliced and cut into sm. pieces
1 lb. Swiss cheese, grated
1 (2 lb.) bag sauerkraut
1 c. (or more) mayonnaise or salad dressing (1000 Island)

Mix all together. Spread on bread. Broil until cheese is browned.
