LEMON JELLO CAKE | |
1 pkg. yellow cake mix (get the kind without pudding) 3/4 c. milk 1 tsp. lemon extract 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello 3/4 c. vegetable oil 4 eggs Mix all ingredients in large bowl and beat 5 minutes with electric mixer. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes on rack, then invert onto plate. Frost warm cake with following: 1 tbsp. melted butter Juice of 1 lemon Mix together and drizzle over cake. This is a family favorite - always requested on birthdays. Very moist! |
