SWEET BREAD
Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.

2 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. lukewarm water
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. warm milk
3 eggs, beaten
6 c. flour

Dissolve yeast in water. Add sugar and salt. Warm milk up and melt butter in it. Cool to lukewarm and add to yeast mixture. Add beaten eggs and flour. Knead. Let dough rise, covered, in warm place until double in size. Punch down. Cut into 9 to 10 round loaves. Put on greased cookie sheets 3 inches apart. Cover with towel and let rise again until double in size. Brush with butter and bake.

For Easter add a hard boiled colored egg to top of each loaf before rising the second time. Roll dough with hands into round strips and crisscross over egg twice.
