CHOCOLATE COCONUT CRUSTED ICE
CREAM PIE
 
2 squares chocolate
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. hot milk
2/3 c. powdered sugar, sifted
1 1/2 c. toasted coconut
1 qt. of your favorite ice cream
Toppings as desired

Melt the chocolate and butter over hot water. Stir until blended. Combine the milk and sugar. Add to chocolate mixture with the coconut. Stir well; spread on bottom and sides of a greased 9-inch pie pan (or can be put in ice cube trays). Chill until firm. At serving time, fill with your favorite ice cream, softened slightly. I like to use a can of pie filling for a topping over the ice cream. Will serve 6 to 8.
