FRESH FRENCH ONION SOUP 
1 1/2 lbs. onions, thinly sliced (5 c.)
1/4 c. butter
6 c. beef broth or bouillon
1/4 tsp. salt or to taste
1/8 tsp. pepper or to taste
Grated Parmesan cheese
Toasted bread cubes

In a large pot brown onions lightly in butter. Add bouillon and simmer 30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve sprinkled with cheese and toasted bread cubes. Serves 4 to 6. Quick and easy!
