TURKEY CORDON BLUE CASSEROLE | |
4 c. cooked turkey chunks 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese 2 c. cooked turkey ham or ham chunks 1 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. butter 1/3 c. flour 1 3/4 c. half and half 1/8 tsp. dry mustard 1 tbsp. dill weed 1/8 tsp. nutmeg Crunchy Crumble Topping as follows: Combine 2 1/2 cups coarse bread crumbs, 1/2 cup each shredded Swiss and chopped walnuts, 1/4 cup melted butter and 1/4 teaspoon dill weed. Layer turkey, cheese and ham in pan. Saute onion in butter; stir in flour and blend in half and half. Add mustard and seasonings. Bring to a boil, stirring until thickened. Pour over ham and top with Crunchy Crumble Topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes in a 9"x13" pan. Serves 6 to 8. |
