EASY APPLE BARS 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter

Mix together. Press 2/3 of the mixture into a 9 x 13 inch pan.

FILLING:

6 c. sliced apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
Cinnamon & nutmeg to suit your taste

Mix and spoon on crust. Sprinkle remaining crust mixture on top and press lightly. Bake at 400 degrees until apples are fork tender, about 45 minutes. Makes 6 generous servings.
