CHICAGO CRUNCHY CHOCOLATE CHIP
COOKIES
 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 egg (2 tbsp.)
1 1/2 tsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. cornflakes
1/2 c. oatmeal
1 c. chocolate chips

Sift flour, baking soda and salt together and set aside. Beat butter, shortening, sugars, egg, milk, vanilla and oil. Sift flour mixture into creamed mixture. Mix well. Add chocolate chips, oats and cornflakes. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
