MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE PIE 
1 cup sugar
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 cup cocoa
dash salt
2 cups milk
3 eggs (separated)
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie shell

Combine sugar, cornstarch, cocoa, salt and milk. Microwave on high for approximately 6 minutes, stirring often.

When mixture starts to thicken, beat the egg yolks and add some of the hot mixture to them. Stir and slowly add this to the rest of the mixture. Microwave for 1 more minute. Check for thickening consistency.

Remove and stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into pie shell. Use egg whites to make meringue. Brown top in oven.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
