2 lbs. pork, cut into sm. pieces or chopped
1 onion, chopped
2 med. apples, peeled and diced
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, or 12 oz. can
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. caraway seed (optional)
2-3 tomatoes
4 servings mashed potatoes

Brown meat and onion; add apples, mushrooms and spices. Let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring. Fill mixture into oblong baking dish.

On top of meat mixture, lay sliced tomatoes. Bake in 375 degree oven for 30 minutes. Put mashed potatoes on top and bake 20 minutes more, or until potatoes are golden brown.
