SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 egg
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
Pinch allspice
Pinch nutmeg
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. flour
2 c. water
2 tbsp. sour cream

Combine ground meat, onion, egg, bread crumbs, seasonings and 1/2 cup water. Blend well and form into small balls. Brown on all sides in hot skillet. Remove to warm platter.

Blend flour into meat drippings and cook until smooth. Add 2 cups water and cook and stir until smooth. Stir in sour cream. Pour over meatballs.
