PINEAPPLE WHITE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
2 tsp. flour
5 egg whites
4 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add vanilla and milk alternately with flour. Then add pineapple with the 2 teaspoons of flour. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Add baking powder to the egg whites and beat in well. Bake in layers or loaf pan, 25 to 30 minutes in 375 degree oven. A few well-drained diced green and red cherries may be added with the pineapple.
