GOOD FOR WHAT AILES YOU CHICKEN
SOUP
 
1/2 fryer
5 c. water
1/2 c. grits
Salt and pepper

Boil chicken until tender. Remove from bone and add to broth (about 4 cups). Add grits and salt to taste. Instant grits can be used, 2 or 3 packages. Add lots of pepper. Guaranteed to taste good when you don't feel up to eating anything else.
